Diagram Maker Candidates enhance and add to effective business communication by using diagram tools and image editing applications to create diagrams, images and conceptual schemes to express process flow, project steps and ideas using Microsoft Visio.

Module Goals
Diagram Manager requires Candidates to:

• Develop the skills to produce professional, informative diagrams and illustrations.
• Create diagrams, drawings and shapes.
• Zoom in, pan around drawings, and add drafting guidelines.
• Save diagrams in different formats, compress files, output for the Web.
• Move, nudge shapes, re-size proportionately.
• Rotate and flip shapes, group, ungroup shapes.
  
• Add colours, patterns to shapes.
• Connect shapes with static or dynamic connections.
• Add text to shapes, format text in shapes.
• Work with an image editor, re-size, duplicate, and arrange images.
• Scan and save images, import images from other sources.
• Adjust image brightness and hue, add different effects.
• Output to a printer or file.
• Be aware of copyright issues and pertinent laws and guidelines.
