Web Optimiser Candidates develop Search Engine Optimsation (SEO) skills to support and improve websites to increase traffic, create more impact and generate higher sales.

 

Module Goals 
Web Optimiser requires Candidates to:

  • Recognise the key terms such as ranking, meta data, keywords, links.
  • Apply meta data in web pages to help with optimisation.
  • Recognise effective website design and layout for optimisation.
  • Use available software tools to help with keyword selection.
  • Register with and submit to search engines and search directories.
  • Create a sitemap and submit to search engines.
  • Research links with comparative and competitive websites.
  • Initiate a link exchange programme and check link effectiveness.
  • Understand important campaign terms such as natural, paid, sponsored links, PPC, CTR, CTC etc
  • Develop a paid keyword campaign and measure the results.
  • Understand the concepts of goals, actions and conversions.
  • Use analytics tools to generate reports on website traffic and activity.
  • Produce optimisation reports for your website
  • Understand laws and guidelines relevant to Search Engine Optimisation
